Urgency
- A time related source of pressure.
- It can be internal (e.g., "I have to get this done before I go to bed.") and/or external (e.g., "I have to get this done for the presentation tomorrow."),
- An urgent task needs to be completed soon, within or by a certain time, or the task will fail in some regard.
- e.g., taking the trash out before the pickup trucks come by, taking the cake out of the oven before it burns, responding to a recent email or text from a person you care about.
- Urgency is often correlated with importance, but the two are different.
- An urgent task may not be important, and vice versa.
- Important tasks can be made urgent through EX0001 - Task Initiation
